The Project
The Moah Creek Wind Farm project is located 30 km west of Rockhampton and 10 km north-west of Stanwell, within the Rockhampton Regional Council LGA.
This site was carefully chosen for a range of reasons including the quality of the wind resource, proximity to transmission lines and existing infrastructure (such as roads) and the impact on the environment and local communities.
The Project will consist of 60 wind turbine generators capable of generating up to 372 MW of electricity, together with associated infrastructure including access tracks, electrical cables, a substation and a switching yard.
