Moah Creek Wind Farm
Neighbour Shared Benefit Scheme

CQP invites eligible project neighbours to register for the Moah Creek Wind Farm Neighbour Shared Benefit and Local Energy Discount Schemes
Shared Benefit Scheme (SBS)
The Moah Creek Wind Farm Neighbour Shared Benefit Scheme (SBS) is one of the programs we will implement to ensure that benefits from the project are meaningfully shared with the local community to include the project neighbours.
The SBS will provide a structured framework for providing direct benefits to neighbouring properties associated with the Moah Creek Wind Farm project, based on transparent eligibility criterial, during project construction and operations.
Local Energy Discount Scheme (LEDS)
In 2025, neighbours who reside within 3km of the proposed Project will be eligible to receive a $1000 direct energy discount to their residential electricity bill. If you think your home may qualify for the rebate, send an image of your residential energy bill to info@moahcreek.com or 0467 388 430
The Moah Creek Wind Farm is part of Central Queensland Power (CQP) which is a portfolio of wind, solar and battery projects being developed that will collectively produce more than 4 GW in capacity. The portfolio will play a vital role in the region’s transition of its power supply towards reliable renewable energy sources.
The Moah Creek Wind Farm project is located 30 km west of Rockhampton and 10 km north-west of Stanwell, within the Rockhampton Regional Council LGA.
